Best Time to Travel to Disney World
posted by: Gretchen
Planning to take your family on a vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida is just the start. You still need to think of other factors. You need to consider the best time to go there so you won’t encounter problems that could ruin your dream family vacation. Knowing the best time to visit it will make you enjoy meeting your favorite cartoon characters like Winnie-the-Pooh, Mickey Mouse, and Lion King and it also helps you save some amount. Of course, you’ll never find Disney World empty but there are some times of year that are better than others. During the winter months like January to March, crowds are smaller.
So when is the best time to go to Disney World? During the first two weeks of November, you’ll see low levels of crowd plus the weather is warm which is great for swimming. But if you cannot go there in November, we have other suggestions for you. Take a look at the following:
Busiest Weeks to Visit Walt Disney
- Christmas Day to New Year’s Day
- Thanksgiving weekend
- Memorial Day weekend
- College Spring Break (April)
- Summer months (June-August)
- Easter
Better Times to Visit Walt Disney
- A week before Christmas
- A week after Thanksgiving
- September to October
- Second week of January to the first week of February
- A week after Easter to the first week of June
Plan your travel that falls on weekdays. As much as possible, avoid going there on Saturdays and Sundays. Aside from international visitors, locals and Florida commuters go to Disneyland to play and have fun at the magical world like Mickey’s World. I wish you a great and wonderful tour and vacation!
