How to Make a Homemade Shampoo

Making a Homemade Shampoo
Herbal Shampoo
You’ll need:
- ¼ cup of herbal tea
- 8 ounces of Liquid Castile soap (a soap made from olive oil and sodium hydroxide)
Mix the herbal tea into the liquid castile soap. Stir them thoroughly in low heat to blend it well. After it has been blended well, let it cool down and then store in a bottle with tight cap.
Chamomile Shampoo
You’ll need:
- 1 ½ tablespoons of glycerin
- 4 bags of chamomile tea
- 4 tablespoons of pure soap flakes
In 1 ½ cups of boiled water, steep the tea bags for 20 minutes and then discard the tea bags. Add in 4 tablespoons of soap flakes to the tea and wait until the soap softens. Add glycerin and make sure it is blended to the mixture well. Transfer it in a bottle with seal.
Hair Growth Castile Shampoo
You’ll need:
- 3 ounces of Liquid Castile Soap
- 1 cup distilled water
- 1 teaspoon Burdock Root
- 1 teaspoon Horsetail
- 1 teaspoon Stinging Nettle
Immerse the herbs and water in a covered pan for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, strain the mixture and let it cool down. Mix with the other ingredients and keep it in a bottle.
Deep Conditioner Shampoo
You’ll need:
- ½ of a ripe avocado
- 2 cups of mayonnaise
Mix the ingredients in a bowl and blend it well. Make sure it is smooth and not lumpy. Smooth it into your hair from tips to roots and leave it on for 30 minutes. Then rinse.
