What is Sciatica Pain ?
It is a condition in which the sciatic nerves in the body get inflamed. These nerves are found at the lower spine to the buttocks area, back of the legs, and the feet.

Stretching Exercises for Sciatica Pain Relief
- Stretch hamstring muscles. These are the muscles that are found at the back portion of the thigh.
- To perform the hamstring stretch you have to lie on your back. This is good for those who suffer from back pain. If you do it this way least stress is laid over the back and other parts of the body.
- You can also do hamstring exercise while sitting. Simply stretch you hamstring muscles but this is more stressful.
- There’s also another way of doing it and it is called practical point stretching of the hamstring. The position of the exercise is kept steady for about 30 seconds.
Prior to doing any of these exercises, you have to consult the doctor to see if you can do these, especially during pregnancy. This is to avoid further complications like the occurrence of injury. These are some things that can help you treat your condition.
