- Prepare an ear dying solution with 50:50 mixture of alcohol and household vinegar. Put 2-3 drops of the solution onto the affected ear. By this, the earwax that might be holding the liquid and can be dried up in the ear canal. Without alcohol, vinegar alone would do.
- Lie down on your side with the affected ear facing down. Gravity, alone, may cause the liquid to drain from the ears naturally.
- Pretend as if you are yawning or chewing food.
- Use the hairdryer method. Set-up your hairdryer in a low temperature and then point the nozzle onto your inner ear. Repeat the process until the water dries up.
- Use OTC antiseptic eardrops. Pour 2-3 drops on the affected ears, and then tilt the head so that the affected one is facing downward.
- If the water is still in your ears no matter how you try to get rid of it, consult a doctor to prevent further infection.

I understand the pain of having water in ears. As for me, I used to have a swimmer ear and I don’t know how to cure it until my aunt told me to try hydrogen peroxide in my ears. It worked for me. Good luck.
