How to Ease Toothache Pain

As any part of human lives, once in our lifetime we experienced toothache pain. This is very common to younger people because they seem to take for granted their dental health. And when you were younger, you tend to munch on sweet food like chocolates, cakes, and candies until you drop and then forget to even brush your teeth after binging on those foods. Well, whatever you did to have that pain on your teeth, it always come down to one effect and that is the unbearable cavity pain on your teeth. The feeling is always unexplainable especially the throbbing sensation inside your mouth. Anyway, we will be talking about some causes and home remedies on how to ease toothache pain.
CAUSES:
- Gum infection
- Tooth decay
- Damaged teeth due to drinking/eating cold and hot food.
- Teeth grinding
- Growing wisdom teeth
- Jaw problem
- Symptoms of severe condition such as heart diseases or ear infection
- Teeth root irritation
HOME REMEDIES/TREATMENT:
You can try the following tips to help you on how to stop or how to get rid and ease the wisdom teeth, root canal pain and even a simple toothache.
- Brush your teeth. Gargle on a mouthwash to relieve the pain.
- Clove oil. Get cotton ball, put a few drops of clove oil then apply on the affected areas.
- Ice pack. Place ice pack on your cheek where the affected tooth/teeth are located. This will also help you relief the pain.
- Garlic. Crush or mince garlic then place it on the affected areas. This will help you get rid of the pain.
- Echinacea Herb. Make a paste out of this herb. Use as a toothpaste then brush it on the affected area.
- Saline water. This is a mixture of warm water and salt. Mix them well then use as a gargle.
If the throbbing sensation wasn’t lessened or cured you can try over the counter reliever and make sure to make an appointment with your dentist. Your dentists know best and will help you stop the pain.
