The itchy feeling down that spot where you can’t scratch it in public can leave you uncomfortable and totally disgusted. Feminine itching or vaginal itching happens to most women at some point in their lives especially before one’s period or during pregnancy.  So, what causes the situation?  Apparently, feminine itching is caused by yeast infection as well as excessive moisture.  If you are suffering from it, here are some home remedies for feminine itch to provide relief.

Feminine Itch Home Remedies

1. Among the remedies is to sit in a shallow tub filled with warm water and ½ cup of salt.  Sit on it for atleast 10 to 15 minutes.  Normal saline solution is actually beneficial in fighting against infection like this.
2. Another way on how to get rid of the itch once it strikes at home is to apply warm compress on it immediately.
3. Spreading yogurt on a tampon and leaving it on your vagina for a few hours are noted to be among the home remedies for feminine itch, too.  Do this atleast once or twice a day.
4. Dilute atleast 1-2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a cup of water can also be used when washing your vagina.  Do this for atleast three times daily.
5. There are also a lot of products designed as anti-itch crème such as vagisil to relieve itching.  Other products from the same name are also available to fight off feminine odor caused by the condition.
