Avocado the Superfood

Not a lot of people like avocado. Maybe because of it’s natural embittered taste . It could also be the appearance on the inside which has tiny long fibers all over its fruit. It is easily squeezed and crushed when ripen because of its soft flesh. The yellow-green meat inside the fruit is eaten, but the skin and seed are thrown away.
But did you know that avocados are very nutritious and contain a wide variety of nutrients. It is considered to be a super food. It is often called ‘alligator pear’ which has healthy fats, fibers and different vitamins and minerals. There are many kinds of avocados, and the shape (from pear-shaped to round) and color (from green to black) can vary between them as well as its weight.
Here are some of the most abundant nutrients found in avocado Vitamin K, Folate, Potassium, Vitamin, C Vitamin, B5 Vitamin, Vitamin B6 and Vitamin E. It also contains small amounts of Magnesium, Manganese, Copper, Iron, Zinc, Phosphorous, Vitamin A, B1 (Thiamine), B2 (Riboflavin) and B3 (Niacin).
Not only avocados healthy, they’re also amazingly tasty and can be added in all sorts of food. You can put them on salads and some other recipe or you can just scoop add a little sugar and some milk.
